FFA
Students in FFA are members of an agriculture class in high school. The students participate in many events during the year, including leadership activities, contests, and community service. The students compete in a wide range of contests from land and range judging, livestock judging, Leadership Skills Events (speaking contests), and Career Development Events (vet science, floriculture, welding, natural resources, livestock management, etc.). Students also have a chance to engage in leadership opportunities, such as attending leadership trainings, workshops, and state/national conventions. Finally, we try to focus on becoming a community based program. Students help with various community service activities throughout the year; those include farmer's appreciation meal, Downtown Boo, and many more throughout our local community and abroad.
