Cross County Community School District

In the last two weeks, Cross County has gotten up to a 2-2 record after their 1-1 record 2 weeks ago. They played superior 2 weeks ago and won 26-6. In said game, they were able to tie the school record for longest kick return touchdown, at 84 yards. The Cougars then traveled to Doniphan-Trumbull and lost 24-28 in a ping-pong style game. In that close loss, the Cougars broke the record for single-game receiving yards at 176 yards, and the record for longest TD pass at 86 yards, Thatcher broke both of the records and Carson threw the longest TD pass. The Cougars play at home on Friday against Boone Central.
