Cross County Community School District

This marks the end of the first 11-man year since their now coach, Grant Hollinger, was a Junior in the 2017-2018 season. Moving up from 8-man to 11-man wasn't the only hardship they faced this year, as they also lost their head coach and defensive coordinator. Even through all of these hardships, Coach Boshart led the Cougars and put up a 4-5 record against some quality opponents. They also broke several 11-man school records, including the record for longest TD catch by Thatcher from Carson for 86 Yards, the record for overall yards at 176 Yards, and Tyion tied the record for Kickoff Return TD, at 84 yards. Boshart said throughout the year and even in the last game "Winning Football games is hard".
