Cross County's own FCS teacher, Mrs. Sarah Hubel, has recently received recognition for her work in our school. Mrs. Hubel alongside 4 other finalists represented Nebraska for the CTE, Career and Technical Education, New Teacher of the Year award. She also was awarded the New Professional Award by the National Association Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences. Recently, after a much missed presence, Mrs. Hubel is back in the building from her maternity leave! Alongside her efforts in the FCS classroom, Mrs. Hubel has played a crucial role in advising our successful FCCLA chapter. Your efforts are seen and appreciated. Thank you, Mrs. Hubel!
