O'Neill

The Cross County Robotics teams competed at O’Neill last Saturday. Team 5155E (Marshall and Sam H.) improved their skills score to an 85, winning the skills champion award. Team 5155T (Colton and Matthew) got a 27 and team 5155K (Cannen and Kirk) got a 22, placing them 14th and 15th in the meet. Middle school team 5155A (Jayden, Ransom, and Samuel J.) got a 15 and placed 17th in skills. Middle school team 5155R (Atalissa and Annilee) and team 5155N (Bradley) each got a 10 in skills, placing them both at 19th. In qualifying rounds, 5155E placed first, 5155T placed 4th, 5155R placed 17th, 5155A placed 18th, 5155K placed 20th, and 5155N placed 22nd. 5155E chose 5155T for the tournament, and all other teams apart from 5155N were able to participate in the tournament. Teams 5155A and 5155R were eliminated first round, and 5155K was eliminated in the quarter finals shortly after. 5155E and 5155T, however, made it to the finals and placed second at the meet. Team 5155E also acquired the Excellence award. Cross County once again brought home 4 trophies this week. Way to go! The Cross County Robotics high school teams will compete next week at UNL.
