Cross County FFA

On Wednesday, the Cross County FFA chapter headed to the Nebraska State FFA Convention in downtown Lincoln, joining over 7,000 members wearing their corduroy jackets.

Students competing in speaking events included Emaree, Emmitt, and Ava, while Jaylyn, Austin, Olive, and Emmitt represented the chapter in the Agriscience Fair.

A huge congratulations goes out to the 11 juniors and seniors who earned their State FFA Degrees—the highest honor a high school FFA member can achieve.
This year’s recipients are:
Juniors – Edie and Sydney
Seniors – Alyssa, Carson, Chesney, Kole, Koy, Lindsey, Lucy, Talon, Thatcher

During the three-day convention, members took part in sessions, listened to keynote speakers, visited career fairs, and explored all that downtown Lincoln had to offer.

Special thanks to Shelly, Max, and Kierra for stepping up as drivers—we appreciate you!

The chapter will celebrate a year of accomplishments and retire senior jackets at the end-of-the-year banquet on April 24th.
